a day without…
without shoes that is! I promised myself this year I would partake in the Tom’s Shoes call to go without shoes for a day. That is NOT easy her in MN since April 10th usually still means snow so this year I was determined since we’ve had better weather this winter than some of the southern states (YEAH!!). But little did I know the temp would drop and that day it would be a frigid 43 degrees. I did what I could and went the majority of the day without, despite the stares! It’s a good reminder that some people don’t ever have the luxury of shoes let alone designer ones!! I love Tom shoes for all of their work they do, helping others <3
One Amazing Woman…
I recently was approached to give some consulting on style character developement for a movie project. Can’t really give specifics but I immediately thought of Amelia Earhart. What an amazing person she was! I forget about how amazing until I do some research and realize just how much. I can’t imagine all the challenges she faced being a woman in a man’s field. But she stayed strong, followed her dreams and did it with style. Amelia this post’s for you!
